Channels
In the Channels tab you'll find a list of all social media channels currently connected to your account, along with their connection statuses.
To filter this list and make it a little more readable, click any of the filter drop downs lining the top of the screen, or type into the search box for a specific channel you're looking for.
Adding A Channel
To connect a new social media channel click the plus (+) icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Each social media platform has it's own steps to go through in order to connect, SocioConnect's on-screen instructions will guide you through these steps.
Once a new channel has been added, you'll be given the option to add it to an already existing Location.
Tip 💡 If you're trying to add more channels than you have locations for, you may need to contact your head office, or Socio Support, to have new locations added to your account.
Reconnecting A Channel
It's unfortunate, but once in a while you may notice one of your channels has become disconnected - meaning your posts and data won't be in sync with SocioConnect, and scheduled posts would fail to publish.
There a several reasons this can happen - the specific error message that comes back from the social media channel will be detailed when you hover your cursor over the little question mark symbol near your disconnected channel.
To reconnect, simply click the green wheel icon, this will then reestablish the link between Socio and the channel.
Multiple Disconnects 🗒️ If you've got lots of disconnected channels, from a Facebook outage or similar event, don't worry - following the steps to reconnect any one of them will trigger an attempt to reconnect all at once.
Removing A Channel
It's also possible to remove a channel from SocioConnect; you do this by clicking the red trash can icon next to the channel's name on the channel list.
Be careful, removing a channel will delete any of its past data, as well as future scheduled posts - so make sure this is what you want before doing so.
If your plan is to stop posting for just a short period of time, switching Auto-Posting
