Content Pool

Content Pool offers simple storage and filing across your business.

Store, tag, and categorise all of your media files and gain easy access on mobile or desktop.

Content Folders

The General folder is designed to be a central repository for your assets - it's visible to all users on your venue, whether they're HQ marketers or single location users.

Location folders are automatically created for any Locations you have within SocioConnect - they're designed for content specific to those locations.

πŸ“ Within both the General and Local folders you can create as many sub folders as needed, and arrange content however best makes sense to you and your team.

Uploading & Working With Content

When you're ready to upload some content, first click into either the General or a Location folder, depending on where you would like this content to end up - then simply click the upload icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Once your files have been uploaded you can click on them to change names, move them between folders, or add tags that will help you and your team search and find what they're looking for later.

Also look out for the Create Post button here, a handy short cut to using content, and particularly useful if you're browsing content looking for an idea to post.

For more in-depth options on your content, hover over a piece of media and click the three dots icon.

As well as straight forward options like the ability to Move, Rename, and Delete your content, here you'll also find a few special options, detailed below.

πŸ’‘ While only image and video files can be used in posting - you're not limited to these when it comes to content pool, many of our clients use this as a way of making PDFs or presentations available to their teams

Sharing Content Within Socio

Where you see the option to Share content, this means the ability to take a file from one place, the General folder say, and duplicate it elsewhere, like to location folders.

You might do this to share a piece of region specific content to the locations that need to, before then removing from the general folder so it doesn't end up with users for whom it isn't useful.

Content Expiration

Custom expiration dates can be set for any individual piece of media in your content pool; this is great for season or timely content you don't want your team stumbling on and using in posts after it stops being relevant.

Once the expiration date and time arrive, the designated content will be deleted, no extra work needed.

Image Editing

SocioConnect also has an excellent image editing facility built in - just click the Edit Image option on your content to get started, and check out the link HERE to learn more.
