Can I get a refund for my Soco subscription?

Soco can't issue refunds or cancel for you. Apple bills every Soco subscription, so you request a refund from Apple and Apple decides. You cancel yourself in the app.

Soco can't issue refunds, and Soco can't cancel your subscription for you. Apple bills every Soco subscription, so a refund is requested from Apple and Apple decides. Cancelling is something you do yourself in the app, in under a minute.

Why Soco can't refund you

Soco can't refund you because your subscription is an Apple in-app purchase. Apple takes the payment, holds the billing record and decides every refund request. Soco has no way to approve, deny or speed up a refund. This is the same for every app that sells subscriptions through the App Store.

Request a refund from Apple

To request a refund for a Soco charge, use Apple's own form: Report a Problem. Sign in with the Apple Account that paid, choose the Soco charge, and follow Apple's steps. Apple describes its process here: Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple. Apple gives you its decision directly; Soco isn't part of it and can't see it.

If you were charged after cancelling

If you were charged after cancelling, open your Apple subscriptions and look at Soco. Soco showing as expiring on a date means the cancellation went through and the charge is for the period before it; request the refund from Apple using the Report a Problem form. If Soco still shows a renewal date, the cancellation didn't complete: cancel again using the steps under Stop future charges, then request the refund. Deleting the Soco app or your Soco account doesn't cancel the subscription.

Stop future charges

To stop future charges, cancel your Soco subscription:

  1. Open the Soco app.

  2. Tap the account icon in the top right.

  3. Under Help, tap Manage subscription. Your Apple subscription settings open.

  4. Follow Apple's prompts to cancel Soco.

Apple's subscription screen then shows Soco as expiring on a date instead of renewing. You keep Pro until that date and aren't charged again.

If your screen shows something different from this article, a trial length you weren't given or a charge you can't explain, send us a screenshot in the app chat. We'd rather check than guess.
