Count about 2 weeks from the brand's approval of your final video. Every Retainer pays through Growi, whatever the brand. Your rate is set by your GMV tier (GMV is gross merchandise value, the total sales your videos drive) and shown on the application page before you apply.
How your Retainer rate is set
Higher GMV tiers see higher pay-per-video rates on the same Retainer. Your exact rate appears on the application page before you commit. Rates are also posted in the Retainer announcements channel in the Soco Discord and on Growi's Retainers page.
When the Retainer payment clock starts
It starts the moment the brand approves your final video, not when you upload it. If this is your first Retainer payment, expect a one-time setup step in Growi before the deposit lands.
If the brand asks for revisions, the clock restarts: the 2 weeks count from the day the revised version is approved, not from your first upload.
Where to track your Retainer payments
Open Growi and tap Active Campaigns. Each campaign shows the rate, your status, and what you've earned so far.
If a Retainer payment looks wrong or late
If a payment doesn't match what the application page showed, or the 2 weeks have passed and nothing has landed, contact Soco Support from the Soco app or at support@joinsoco.com. Include the campaign name and a screenshot: a person answers Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Eastern.
Keep payment questions out of shared Discord channels. Your amounts are your business, and a shared channel shows them to other creators.
For general Retainer questions that don't involve your own payments, the retainer-chat channel in the Soco Discord is a good place to ask, and you can see answers other creators have already received.
Next steps
Your next question is probably one of these:
How do I get paid for a Retainer? covers the payout rails: Growi, PearPop, Stripe, and setting up where the money lands.
