How do I send promotional birthday emails?

Wish your clients a Happy Birthday and reward them for their loyalty with a discount on their next booking

In order to send your clients a promo code for their birthday you will need to have their date of birth saved to their client information:

  1. Click on the Clients tab

  2. Select client

  3. Click Edit client

  4. Enter their date of birth

  5. Click Confirm and Save

To create a promotional birthday email:

  1. Go to Menu >> Marketing tools

  2. Click Automated emails & SMS

  3. Click + Add new

  4. Choose Upcoming birthday template

  5. Set the trigger for how many days before the clients birthday the email should and at which time of day

  6. Edit content

  7. You can add blocks to include title, text, button, image, promo code and horizontal line. We recommend sending a test email to yourself so you can check for any mistake before sending your email

  8. Enable automation

Note: Automated SMS can be set up to serve the same purpose. Simply head to Menu >> Marketing tools >> Automated SMS

For each email sent you will be charged 1p. You will be charged for each email via Stripe. An invoice for your usage each week will be created on Sunday. To view a breakdown of your SMS & Email costs, visit 'Message invoices' in the Payments section of your app.
