Navigating the Soma Analytics Dashboard

Updated over a week ago

To begin, we encourage you to take a moment to familiarize yourself with the dashboard's layout and features. This overview is just the start; we'll explore each section in greater detail in the following onboarding education segments.

Users

To add a user, simply click the "+" button and enter the user's Soma ID number. All purchased Soma IDs are accessible in the Soma ID archive for your convenience.

Plan | Live

To view a user's cognitive and physiological data, choose whether you'd like to access data from live mode tasks or plan mode tasks. Then, select the task to view the mean data.

Live Mode

Designed for instant task selection and performance, Live Mode suits athletes and coaches favoring a flexible approach to training. It allows for the selection of tasks from the favorites list in Soma NPT for immediate execution. Importantly, data from Live Mode is stored separately from Plan Mode to distinguish between unstructured and structured sessions.

Plan Mode

Plan Mode, in contrast, is structured and follows a specific training plan, ideal for monitoring progression over time. Data here is also stored separately, enabling detailed analysis and plan adjustments based on performance.

Minute on Minute

If enabled via the plan builder, you can view an athlete's minute-by-minute data, offering granular insights into their performance.

Overview

This feature provides a unified view of session data, compiling all task-related details into a single snapshot per session. It allows for an analysis of average performance metrics across the entire session, offering a comprehensive view of performance.

Trends

Track the progression of an athlete's data through their training plan with the trend feature. It allows for task filtering by cognitive and physiological metrics, training mode, and task duration, enabling precise tracking of progress.

Profiling

Evaluate cognitive task performance with the profiling feature, which categorizes performance as elite, average, or poor. Each task completion updates the athlete's performance profile, providing a clear view of their strengths and areas for improvement.

Colour Legend:

Purple = Elite

Blue = Average

Grey = Poor
