Creating an in-person pitch will allow you to log any pitch you may have made in person. For example, if you played someone a song in person, sent them a CD, or even emailed them songs without using Songspace you would not need to generate a tracked URL in Songspace to log that pitch.

You no longer need to create a playlist folder in your catalog to pitch multiple songs. However, if you'd like to base a pitch on an existing folder, you can do so from the folder toolbar.

A dialog will pop up with several settings and fields. Make sure to go to the In-person pitch tab.

When creating pitches from folders, there are a couple playlist-specific settings to understand.

Include sub-folders - Turn this setting on if you want the pitch to include any sub-folders.
​Include files - Turn this setting on if you want to include non-audio files in the pitch. This includes images, text documents, and PDFs.

Quickly create an in-person pitch containing multiple songs by command+clicking multiple songs in your catalog and clicking the Pitch songs... action in the toolbar.

A dialog will pop up with several settings and fields. Make sure to go to the In-person pitch tab.

To create an in-person pitch for a single song, right-click the song in catalog and select Pitch song… from the menu.

You can also pitch a song from the song project toolbar.

Each of the above routes to create an in-person pitch will display a modal where basic fields can be applied to your new pitch. Learn more about those fields below.

After you've filled out the fields in the in-person pitch creation modal, you're ready to create the pitch. Click Create.

Your new in-person pitch has now been logged both in your pitch log and in the Pitching tab of any included song projects.
