No. With Pie, you do not need to visit a refund desk or collect cash at the airport.
Once your Tax Free purchase has been successfully validated by Customs and your claim has been approved, your refund will be available in your Pie Wallet in the Pie VAT app.
From your Pie Wallet, you can choose your available withdrawal method and transfer the refund digitally.
What do I need to do at the airport?
Your only Tax Free step at the airport is to complete the required Customs validation.
If Spain is your final point of departure from the EU, this will normally be done by scanning your DIVA barcode at a DIVA kiosk.
Once successfully validated, you can continue your journey - there is no need to queue at a cash refund desk.
