What are recurring tickets?
Recurring tickets are a powerful new feature in SparrowHub designed to simplify the process of handling regular customer orders. They work by enabling you to create and schedule share cart payment links that can be sent out at defined intervals - like every 28 days.
This is ideal for patients who consistently fill the same repeat scripts with your pharmacy. Instead of managing these orders manually each time, you can set up a recurring ticket once, and SparrowHub will do the heavy lifting.
Recurring tickets let you serve regular customers in a semi-automated, efficient way, while maintaining full control over what gets sent and when.
How does it work?
Scripts Are Queued: Staff add their customer's script to the Queue as usual.
Create a Recurring Ticket: Staff can select the option to “Create Recurring Ticket” from the queued ticket.
Set Cart Details and Schedule: Enter details for the share cart including the items in the order, the send interval and number of times to repeat.
Notification Appears When It’s Time: When the scheduled interval arrives, a tile appears at the top of the Queue notifying you that a payment link is ready to be sent.
Confirm and Send to Customer: You decide if the cart should go out that cycle. If yes, send the link to the customer.
Customer Pays and Chooses Delivery: The customer completes the transaction and selects their preferred delivery option (DoorDash, AusPost, or Click & Collect).
Order Flows Into Send for Fulfilment: Once payment is received, the order lands in Send for processing like any other order.
