"I made a sale β when do I actually get it?" π¦
The short version β±οΈ
π
Earnings run Friday to Thursday
πΈ Paid out automatically the following Friday
π¦ Usually in your bank on Monday
π 10% held for your first 30 days β then nothing
π Bonuses paid automatically (referrals are the one exception)
π Everything visible in your dashboard, including a countdown on held funds
Same day every week. No requesting it. β
The weekly cycle π
Your earnings week runs Friday to Thursday. Everything earned in that window pays out the following Friday, automatically, provided there are no flags on your account.
Then your bank does its bit. Payments sent Friday typically land Monday β that's banking, not us sitting on it.
So a Saturday sale sits in the current week, pays out the Friday after it closes, and reaches you the Monday after that. Worth knowing when you're planning around money. π
Who handles what π
π³ Card and π¦ Pay by Bank both run through Stripe. Same account, same dashboard, same Friday payout. You won't notice any difference between them β a bank payment and a card payment land in exactly the same place at exactly the same time. β
π Stablecoin is handled by a separate provider, not Stripe. Same weekly cycle, same reserve rules, same Friday run β but sent to your wallet rather than your bank.
In practice: card and bank earnings arrive together as one payout. Stablecoin arrives separately, in your wallet. Both on Friday. π·
The reserve β and why it goes away π
New accounts have a small reserve. Established accounts have none.
This is a starting position you grow out of, not something you live with.
Your account | Reserve | Held for |
π± New or recently activated | 10% | 30 days |
β Established β good history, no risk indicators | 0% | None |
β οΈ Moderate risk β rapid growth, unusual volume, incomplete history | 15% | 60 days |
π¨ Elevated risk β increased disputes, high refunds, abnormal patterns | 20% | 90 days |
π High risk β suspected fraud, chargeback exposure, compliance concerns | Up to 30%, or full hold | Case by case |
In practice π
Weeks 1β4: 90% pays out on the normal Friday cycle. 10% held.
From day 30: that first reserve releases automatically, and releases continue as each window matures.
Once established: 0%. Everything pays out on the Friday cycle. β
No forms. No requesting. No waiting on a human. Reserves release automatically on expiry, provided your account is in good standing and no disputes arose during the period.
Why the first 30 days π‘οΈ
Chargebacks arrive late β a supporter can dispute weeks after buying. On a brand-new account there's no history behind it, so one dispute could leave you with a negative balance instead of a payout.
The 10% covers that gap while you build a track record. Then it stops.
What would bring one back β οΈ
Disputes or refunds climbing Β· a sudden jump in volume Β· verification lapsing Β· unusual payment patterns Β· policy or moderation concerns.
Staying at 0% is simple: deliver what you list, keep verification current, keep disputes near zero. Most creators never think about reserves again after month one. β
Bonus payments π
Bonuses show in your account as you earn them, so you can see what's coming before it lands.
π Fast Start β 5% on your first 30 days of earnings. Paid automatically, once per creator.
π Founder bonus β 10%, up to Β£1,000 a month, on monthly earnings between Β£2,500 and Β£10,000. Paid automatically.
π€ Creator referral β Β£50 per creator who signs up through you. β οΈ This one needs a click.
Bonuses are calculated on your net earnings β your listed prices, not what supporters paid on top.
Referral bonuses: press the button π
Fast Start and Founder bonuses arrive on their own. Referral bonuses don't.
Once a referral bonus has landed in your account, a button appears in your profile. Press it, and the money is sent as an additional payment β separate from the normal weekly run.
Nobody will chase you for it. Referred three creators and never pressed it? That's Β£150 sitting in your profile waiting. Go and look. πΈ
You can see all of it π
No mystery, no guessing:
π Why anything is held β plain language, not a code
β³ A release countdown β the exact date held funds unlock
π What's held vs what's paying out
π Bonuses earned, including any referral bonus waiting on your click
π¬ An appeal button, right there on the thing you'd appeal
If something's held, you know why and when it clears without messaging anyone. π·
When a payout is held π«
Payouts run automatically unless there's a flag. Usual causes:
β οΈ Verification incomplete or expired β the most common by far, entirely avoidable
β οΈ Bank or wallet details missing, rejected, or recently changed
β οΈ An open dispute or investigation
β οΈ Unusual activity flagged by monitoring
β οΈ Outstanding compliance requirement
Your dashboard says which. Fix it and payouts resume on the next cycle β no need to ask.
What comes out π
Your listed price arrives in full β supporters cover the fees. β
What reduces a payout:
β οΈ Refunds you've issued
β οΈ Chargebacks β the amount plus a dispute fee
β οΈ Adjustments set off against your balance or reserve
Changing your bank or wallet details π
Update them well before a payout date, not the day of. Changed details need verifying, and that can push a payout to the next weekly cycle.
Change them on a Monday, not a Thursday night. π
Common questions π€
"Can I get paid early?"
No. Weekly cycle, same for everyone. Predictable beats negotiable.
"Why is 10% being held?"
New-account reserve. Covers late-arriving disputes while you build history, releases automatically after 30 days, then drops to 0%. π±
"How do I get to 0%?"
Deliver what you list, keep verification current, keep disputes low. It happens on its own β no application.
"When exactly do I get held funds?"
Countdown in your dashboard. Exact date. β³
"Do I need to claim my bonuses?"
Fast Start and Founder bonuses are automatic. Referral bonuses need you to press the button in your profile once they've landed. πΈ
"I've referred creators but haven't been paid."
Check your profile β there'll be a button waiting. Referral bonuses aren't sent automatically.
"Is Pay by Bank slower than card?"
No. Both run through Stripe and land in the same payout, same Friday.
"I was paid less than expected."
Check the period for refunds, a chargeback, or reserve on newer earnings. Nearly always it.
"Paid Friday, nothing by Monday?"
Give it until Tuesday for bank processing. Still nothing β chat bubble with the payout date. π¬
"Do I get records for tax?"
Yes. Full earnings history, exportable any time. You're merchant of record, so keep them. π
TL;DR π―
Friday to Thursday, paid the following Friday, automatically
Usually in your bank Monday
10% for your first 30 days, then 0% unless risk increases
Fast Start and Founder bonuses pay automatically β referral bonuses need a button press π
Card and Pay by Bank land together; stablecoin goes to your wallet π
Everything visible β reason, amount, release countdown β³
Every Friday. Like clockwork. π¦π·
