How to Verify Your Account (Canadian Users πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦)

How Canadian users verify their Splash Sports account β€” accepted ID types, the verification process, and what to do if there's an address mismatch.

Canadian users follow the same verification process as US users, with a few differences in accepted ID types. Here's everything you need to know.


Accepted Government-Issued Photo IDs

  • Valid driver's license

  • Valid provincial ID card

  • Passport

Your ID must be valid, unexpired, and clearly show your full name, photo, and address.


How to Complete Verification

  1. Go to app.splashsports.com/user-verification or tap the orange verification banner when you log in

  2. Open the link on your mobile device β€” the flow requires your phone's camera

  3. Scan your ID front and back as prompted

  4. Take a selfie if requested β€” good lighting, no hats or sunglasses

  5. Submit and wait for confirmation (usually a few minutes)

⚠️ Live camera scanning only β€” static photos or screenshots of your ID won't be accepted.


Address Mismatch?

The name and address on your ID must match your Splash account exactly. If your ID shows an old address, provide a Proof of Residence dated within the past 60 days β€” such as a utility bill, phone bill, or bank statement.


Where Is Splash Available in Canada?
