Once the entry deadline has passed, new entries cannot be added to any contest on Splash Sports — not by you as commissioner, and not by our team. This applies without exception.
Why Entries Can't Be Added After the Deadline
The contest has already started — the entry window closes automatically when the first game begins
Adding entries after the start would be unfair to participants who entered on time with incomplete information
Splash is legally required to follow this policy to comply with state fantasy sports regulations
For contests with multiple games, the deadline applies to the entire slate when the first game starts. For multi-week contests, each week's deadline applies to that week's picks.
Can Picks Be Added or Edited After the Deadline?
No — picks also cannot be added or changed after the deadline, even by Splash support. Entries that miss the deadline are eliminated regardless of game outcomes.
How to Avoid This
Set pick reminders and send them to your members well before the deadline
Use the Invites Manager to send a reminder to anyone who hasn't picked yet
Pin the entry deadline in your group chat so participants know when they need to be in by
