How to Access Your Contest and View Leaderboard Tabs in Splash
In this guide, you’ll learn how to access your contests in Splash, understand when contest-related tabs such as "Leaderboard" and "Standings" become available, and how to troubleshoot issues related to visibility.
Accessing Your Contest
To access your contest, follow these steps:
Log into Splash.
Navigate to the My Contests section.
Under the Active tab, you’ll find your current contest listed.
If you’re the commissioner, you can also open your contest details from the Commissioner Tab, select the contest’s name, and click View Contest to access standings and stats.
When Do Contest Tabs Like Leaderboard and Standings Become Visible?
General Visibility
Contest tabs such as Leaderboard, Standings, and Picks become visible at specific milestones during the contest:
Leaderboard/Standings: These tabs appear once the contest officially starts. Before the contest begins, these tabs remain hidden as there is no data to display.
Member Picks: Picks for each game become visible as the games start. Complete visibility of all picks occurs after the weekly pick deadline passes (e.g., at the start of Week 1). After this deadline, you can view other members’ picks, survivors remaining, and eliminations.
Stats: The Stats tab provides week-by-week contest details, showing the number of survivors, entrants eliminated, and missed picks. You can access this tab from the contest page.
QuickPicks Contests: Before the group is full, picks are not visible. Once the group fills, picks become visible, and payouts are processed after all picks have played.
Survivor Pools: Leaderboards and standings become visible in real-time after the contest locks, allowing both participants and commissioners to stay updated.
General Entry-Based Contests: Picks and standings are fully visible after the pick deadline, ensuring no potential unfair advantage before contests start.
Where to Find These Tabs
Once the contest starts, the tabs become accessible through the contest details page:
Open My Contests.
Select the contest.
Navigate to the appropriate tab (Leaderboard, Stats, Picks, etc.).
Customizing the Display Name on Leaderboard
By default, the Leaderboard may display your verified first and last name. To make your handle appear on the Leaderboard:
Open your contest.
Go to the My Entries section.
Edit the entry to rename it with your preferred handle.
Your custom handle will now display in the Standings and Leaderboard for that entry.
