How to Edit Your Entry Name ✏️

Updated today

Yes, you can absolutely update your entry name on the Splash Contests platform, subject to your user role and permissions! Just follow these steps if you're a member:

  1. Click on the MY CONTEST tab - Click on the contest where you'd like to edit your entry name.

  2. Locate your entry - Next to your entry (e.g., ENTRY 1), tap the pencil icon ✏️

  3. Edit and save - A pop-up will appear — enter your new entry name in the provided form and tap SAVE 💾 💾

Note: Only members who are logged into their accounts can perform these actions. Commissioners have separate permissions that do not include editing member entries.

Handling Generic Entry Names

Entries with generic names like "Entry 1" can be identified through the leaderboard, which connects entries to usernames. The leaderboard becomes available once the contest locks, showing scores and usernames.

Additional Restrictions

Once a contest starts, entries cannot be swapped or edited by commissioners. Members are responsible for their entry names, though commissioners can create additional entries under their own accounts if necessary.

If you need to edit your entry name on RunYourPool Interface, you can easily go into your entry > click 3 dots > edit entry name.

This emphasizes the streamlined process available to members, contrasting with potential restrictions imposed on commissioners.
