Viewing a Contest in Spectator Mode πŸ‘€

How to view a Splash Sports contest as a spectator without joining β€” what spectator mode is, how to check if it's enabled, and how commissioners can turn it on.

Updated over a week ago

Spectator mode lets non-entrants view a contest's leaderboard and standings without needing to join. It's a great way for friends or family to follow along without participating.

What Is Spectator Mode?

Spectator mode allows anyone β€” even people who haven't entered β€” to view a contest's leaderboard and stats. It must be enabled by the commissioner and is available for both public and private contests.

How to Check If Spectator Mode Is Available

  1. Go to the contest page

  2. Look for a "View Contest" button on the page

  3. If the button is visible, spectator mode is ON β€” click it to view the contest standings

🚫 If you don't see a "View Contest" button, spectator mode is not enabled for that contest.

Commissioners: How to Enable Spectator Mode

Spectator mode is not self-serve in the contest settings at this time. To enable it for your contest, email support@splashsports.com with your contest name and we'll turn it on for you.
