What Are "Double Pick Days" in NCAAB Survivor?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

We’re happy to explain how Double Pick Days work — this optional setting can add an exciting twist to your contest.

🏀 What Is a Double Pick Day?

  • On Double Pick Days, entrants must select two teams instead of one within the slate

  • To advance, both teams must win — if either loses, the entrant is eliminated

  • This adds a layer of strategy and difficulty, especially later in the tournament- Participants have flexibility in distributing their picks, such as selecting two teams on the same day (e.g., Day 7 or Day 8) or spreading one pick across two consecutive days.

💡 Why Use It?

  • Popular in larger contests

  • Helps prevent multiple winners by increasing the challenge

  • Encourages strategic planning across multiple slates- Increases participant engagement by creating opportunities for varied strategic choices

  • Highlights a contest's complexity, offering a unique challenge to seasoned players

Commissioner Permissions for Editing Double-Pick Weeks

  • All settings can be edited up until 24 hours before the first game of the contest starts except for Pick Objective and Combining Days 7&8. After the contest begins, settings cannot be changed.

  • For Double Picks, the first slate can only be added, not removed.

We hope this clears things up! If you have any more questions or would like help enabling this setting, feel free to reach out — we’re always happy to assist.
