I Won a Contest — Why Haven't I Been Paid?

What to do when your Splash Sports contest shows as won but your winnings haven't arrived in your account.

Overview

Seeing a "Won" result on a contest but no funds in your account is usually a timing issue. Here's what's happening and what to do.


Payouts Aren't Always Instant

Contest payouts are processed after all results are officially confirmed — which can take time depending on the sport and contest format. For most contests this is within a few hours of the final game, but it can take up to 24 hours in some cases. If your contest recently concluded, give it time before assuming something is wrong.


Check Your Wallet, Not Just Your Balance

Winnings are added to your Splash wallet balance — the same place you'd see deposits. Go to My Account → Wallet or click your balance in the top-right corner. Winnings won't appear as a separate notification; they're added directly to your total balance. Check your Transaction History for a line item confirming the payout.


Ties and Split Pots

If your contest ended in a tie, the prize is split equally among all tied entries — which means each person receives a smaller amount than a solo win would pay. If you're in a tie but received $0, contact support — this may indicate a payout calculation issue.


Entertainment-Only Contests

If you won an entertainment-only (self-managed) contest, Splash does not manage or distribute the prize. Payouts in EO contests are handled entirely by the commissioner outside of Splash. Reach out to your commissioner directly for payment.


Real-Money Contest Payout Not Received After 24 Hours

If it has been more than 24 hours since your contest concluded and your wallet shows no payout:

  1. Check My Account → Transaction History — if the payout appears there, it has been processed

  2. If there's no transaction entry for the payout, email support@splashsports.com with:

    • Your account email

    • The contest name or ID

    • The date the contest concluded

    • The amount you expected to receive

Our team will investigate and resolve any missing payout as quickly as possible.


My Entries Disappeared

If you believe entries that were active are no longer showing in your account, email support with your account email and any screenshots you have. Entry records are logged on our end even if they no longer appear in your view.
