Marketplace offers are pre-funded.
When you make an offer, the required funds are removed from your available Splash wallet balance and held in escrow while the offer is active.
The money has not been paid to the seller at this point.
Holding the funds in escrow allows the transaction to settle immediately if the seller accepts your offer.
If your offer is declined, canceled, or expires, the escrowed funds are automatically returned to your Splash wallet.
