Teams and rosters live in SportsVisio Manager (also called SV Record). Everything you see here is scoped to the Program, Season and Division you have selected. If the list looks empty or wrong, check your context first in Choosing your context.
Before you start
Creating, editing and deleting teams and players needs the editTeams permission. You get it as an admin or coach on the program. If you're a viewer, the + and the edit/delete actions simply won't appear.
Make sure a Program, Season and Division are all selected. The + to create a team only appears when you have a full selection.
See your teams
Open the side menu and tap Teams.
You'll see the list of teams for the selected division.
Tap a team to open its Players.
Create a team
On Teams, tap +.
On Create Team, enter the team name and pick a default color.
Tap Save.
Import Team is marked Coming Soon: for now, add teams one at a time.
Edit or delete a team
To edit a team, open it and change its name or color.
To delete a team, use the delete action on the team's tile.
Add, edit or remove players
On Teams, tap the team you want.
On Players, review the current roster.
Tap + to add a player. Fill in the player's name and jersey number, then save.
To change or remove a player, use the edit or delete action on that player's tile.
Jersey numbers must be unique on a team. If you reuse a number you'll see "Players cannot share the same jersey number": pick a different number.
Designate a season champion
From a team's tile you can designate that team as the season champion, or revoke it later if it changes.
Why can't I see the + or edit buttons?
Adding and editing teams and players is gated by the editTeams permission. If you can see the lists but not the + or the edit/delete actions, your role can't make changes. Ask an admin or coach on the program, or to be given that permission.
