Some advanced stats need to know how long each player was on the court. Those stats only appear when a game was set up with player minutes enabled.

This is the part people get wrong, and it is worth being clear about. There is no way to type minutes in. The Minutes Matrix is a read-only view. Minutes arrive with the game, because player minutes are enabled on the game when it is set up.

So if the numbers are missing, the fix is not data entry. It is getting minutes enabled on your games.

Without minutes those columns stay blank. Everything else, points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, shooting percentages, works exactly as normal. See Advanced and minutes-based stats.

Minutes are enabled per game, so a season can be mixed. Minutes-based stats will reflect only the games that have them, which means a season average can look low if half the games are missing minutes. The Minutes Matrix is where you can see which is which.

Email customersuccess@sportsvisio.com with your program name and which season you want it for. It is set up at the game level, so it is worth asking before a season starts rather than after.
