đ Where to find it: Open a game â Game Summary â Stats tab; or open a player/team page â Averages/Totals
This is your starting point for the SportsVisio stats glossary. It explains where stats come from, when they appear, and how to switch between the different views you'll see on game, player and team pages. The stat definitions themselves live in the other glossary articles.
Where your stats come from
Your stats are generated automatically from AI-processed game video. A manager records and uploads the game in SportsVisio Manager (SV Record); once the video finishes processing, the stats and highlights appear in the SportsVisio app. Until a game finishes processing, its stats won't be there yet.
Where to find stats
Per game: open a game to see its Game Summary. Tabs across the top include Overview, Stats, Shot Chart, Heat Map and Awards (which tabs show depends on your sport. See below).
Season / career: open a player or team page to see totals and averages across many games.
Averages vs Totals (Per Game vs Totals)
On player and team pages you can toggle how the numbers are summed up:
Averages / Per Game: the stat per game (for example, points per game). Use this to compare players or teams who've played a different number of games.
Totals: the stat added up across every game in the range. Use this for season or career milestones (like total points).
Basic vs Advanced box score
Every box score has a Basic / Advanced toggle:
Basic shows the everyday stats, points, rebounds, assists, shooting percentages, and so on.
Advanced adds efficiency and impact stats like eFG%, TS% and PIE. Some advanced stats need extra data to appear. See Advanced and minutes-gated stats.
Some of the most detailed advanced team stats live on the SportsVisio web product, not the mobile app. The mobile box score covers the everyday and efficiency stats.
The basics you'll see everywhere
GP, Games Played, how many games are included in the numbers you're looking at.
MPG, Minutes Per Game, average minutes played per game. This only shows for games set up with player minutes enabled. Minutes are not entered by hand, so if a game does not have them, MPG and the other minutes-based stats stay empty. See Advanced and minutes-gated stats.
PPG: Points Per Game.
RPG: Rebounds Per Game.
For scoring and shooting numbers, see Shooting stats. For assists, steals, blocks and turnovers, see Playmaking and defense stats.
Why don't I see this?
No stats yet? The game may still be processing, or hasn't been uploaded.
Minutes-based stats empty? The program isn't tracking player minutes.
No Shot Chart or Awards tab? Those are basketball-family features. Volleyball games show a volleyball-specific summary instead. See Shot chart and heat map.
