You and your child can check the remaining data in the Spriggy app. Parents can also turn their child’s mobile data on or off.
Check the data balance
Log in to the Spriggy app as a parent or child to view the data balance for your child’s mobile service.
Data usage can take up to 4 hours to update, so recent activity may not appear straight away.
Turn data on or off
Follow our guide to turning your child’s data on or off. Changes can take up to 15 minutes to take effect.
Help data last longer
Depending on your child’s phone and apps, you may be able to:
Set data usage warnings or limits.
Reduce app refreshes and downloads in the background.
Set uploads and downloads to use Wi-Fi only.
Set music and video streaming to use Wi-Fi only.
Check your phone’s user guide or the manufacturer’s website for instructions on changing these settings.
