How does billing work?

Everything you need to know about when and how much you'll be charged for using Spriggy Pocket Money.

Your annual Spriggy membership fee may vary depending on when you joined Spriggy, and how many kids are linked to your membership. The great news is your first month is on us and you can cancel at any time (but we think you’ll love using Spriggy).

Spriggy family membership pricing

Our Spriggy membership has an initial 30-day free trial.

After the free trial, Spriggy membership costs:

  • $60 per year for families with 1 child (we call this “one child pricing”); or

  • $78 per year for families with between 2 and 6 children (we call this “multiple children pricing”).

You can move from the one-child pricing tier to the multiple children pricing tier by adding a second or more children to your membership. Similarly, you can move from the multiple children pricing tier to the one-child pricing tier by removing children from your membership such that you have only 1 child remaining on your membership.

If you move from the one-child pricing tier to the multiple children pricing tier (by adding an additional child), you will need to pay the adjustment fee of $18, which is applied pro-rata at the time you add the additional child, based on the time remaining in your annual billing period.

For example, if you register 1 child and ay the $60 annual membership fee on 1 January 2024 and then add a second child on 1 July 2024 (ie, halfway into your annual billing period), you will only need to pay an adjustment fee of $9. This is because you are paying the pro rata adjustment fee for the 6 months remaining in your annual billing period ($18/2=$9). As long as you have 2 or more children registered, you will pay $78 per year on each subsequent annual billing date.

30-day free trial

Under Spriggy family membership pricing, your 30-day free trial begins when you’ve successfully added a Connected Account and activated your first child’s Spriggy card.

Fees

The applicable annual Spriggy membership fee will automatically be debited from your Connected Account at the end of your free trial, unless you cancel beforehand.
