A Connected Account is the debit card or bank account linked to a Spriggy Family membership. Your Connected Account is used to Top Up (add funds) your Parent Wallet.

A parent can only have one Connected Account, which can be changed at any time via the Parent Login.

What can be used as a Connected Account:

  • Australian issued debit cards.
    Standard 16 digit Visa or MasterCard debit cards that are NOT linked to a line of credit.

  • Australian bank accounts.
    Linked by adding a BSB and account number.

The following card types can NOT be used as a Connected Account:

  • Credit cards.

  • Dual-purpose cards e.g. Maestro.

  • Key cards.

  • EFTPOS cards.

There are no additional charges for using a debit card, changing or updating your Connected Account but Top Ups will take a different amount of time to land in your Parent Wallet, depending on the account you connect:

  • Debit card - Within a few minutes. This is recommended.

  • Bank account - 2-3 business days.
