What is a Connected Account?

Everything you need to know about a Connected Account.

Updated over a week ago

A Connected Account is the debit card or bank account the Primary Parent has linked to a Spriggy Family membership. This is the account you use to top up your Parent Wallet, and pay the Annual Spriggy Membership Fee.

You can only have one Connected Account linked to Spriggy at a time, and you can change this from your Primary Parent login if you need to.

You can use either of these as your Connected Account

Australian issued debit cards

  • Standard 16 digit Visa or MasterCard debit card

  • Top ups take just a few minutes to reach your Parent Wallet

Australian bank accounts

  • Connect with your BSB and account number.

  • Top ups take 2-3 business days (due to bank processing times) to reach your Parent Wallet

There’s no charge for changing or updating your Connected Accounts.

You cannot use any of these as your Connected Account:

  • Credit cards

  • Dual-purpose cards e.g. Maestro

  • Key cards

  • EFTPOS cards
