Teens can add friends on Spriggy’s SPRK Mode by entering their username, mobile number, or scanning their QR code. Once added, they can send money to that friend’s prepaid card.
How to add a friend on SPRK with their username or mobile number:
Log in to SPRK Mode on the Spriggy app
Tap ‘Friends’ in the bottom navigation bar (between ‘Transfer’ and ‘Notifications’)
Tap ‘Add friends’
Tap ‘Search their username or mobile’
Enter your friend's username or mobile number¹
Tap ‘Add’

¹If your teen is unable to add their friend by mobile number, it means they are not yet a Spriggy SPRK member. Your teen can invite their friend to join Spriggy SPRK by following these steps:
Log in to SPRK Mode on the Spriggy app
Tap ‘Friends’ in the bottom navigation bar (between ‘Transfer’ and ‘Notifications’)
Tap ‘Invite’
Tap ‘Invite a friend’
Select if your friend is currently a Spriggy user
Follow the prompts to invite them by SMS
Note that you can only add a friend if their parent or guardian has signed up for a Spriggy membership and activated SPRK Mode to unlock additional features for their teen.
