How does SQUID’s subscription model work?

Understanding SQUID’s Subscription Model

SQUID offers a subscription model designed specifically for businesses, with pricing based on actual usage. Below, we outline the key aspects of this model to help you understand how it works and what to expect.

1. Usage-Based, Tiered Pricing

SQUID employs a tiered pricing structure that adjusts based on the number of active users interacting with your SQUID tag each month. Charges increase with higher usage and decrease with lower usage, ensuring that your costs align with your business activity. You can monitor your upcoming charges in the Billing section of your business portal.

2. No Maximum Usage Cap

It is important to note that SQUID does not allow businesses to set a maximum cap on the number of active users per month. This means that your subscription cost will always reflect the actual number of active users within the tiered pricing model.

3. Subscriptions Are for Businesses Only

Subscriptions are exclusively available for businesses using SQUID. Individual app users do not require a subscription to access or use the SQUID app. This distinction ensures that only businesses are billed for their usage.

Summary

SQUID’s subscription model is designed to be flexible and usage-based, catering to the needs of businesses. While it does not offer a usage cap, the tiered pricing ensures that costs are proportional to activity levels. Additionally, subscriptions are limited to businesses, with no charges for individual app users.
