Receiving the Document

When the ClientConnect user is assigned a Document or Checklist task they will receive an email that will list the task/s to complete in ClientConnect.

When the user logs in they will also find a message in their Inbox. When the user opens the message they will see a Complete the Document button. The name of the Document with not be displayed on any of the buttons.

When the user clicks the button:

  1. If it’s a Document Task the user will be taken to the Document.

  2. If it’s a Checklist Task the user will be taken to the task under the Tasks heading and will have a list of Documents with the Complete the Document button.

ClientConnect Document Completion and Stages

It is possible for staged documents to be completed in ClientConnect. For information specific to ClientConnect read the instructions below.

1. Stage Completion Rules apply to these Documents.

2. Penelope does not prevent the user from sending stages to ClientConnect users out of order (as per Stage Completion Rules).

3. Any Stage rules that are set up on the Document Template could impact the Questions shown in the stage sent to the ClientConnect user.

4. When a staged Document is completed out of order (as per Stage Completion Rules) the following is the expected behavior for a Document Task:

  • When the user clicks on Complete the Document in their ClientConnect Inbox, they will receive an error message. The Error Message displayed is “Sorry this document can no longer be completed, please contact your agency for more information”.

  • When the user clicks x in the top right corner of the modal, the message will still be in their inbox but the Complete the Document button will no longer display.

  • In Penelope, the task will now be assigned to the Worker.

5. When a staged Document is completed out of order (as per Stage Completion Rules) the following is the expected behaviour for a Checklist Task:

  • When the user clicks on Complete the Document in their ClientConnect Inbox, they will be taken to the tasks in the Checklist in Tasks.

  • When the user clicks on a Document that can’t be completed from the Checklist Task they will receive an error message. The Error Message displayed is “Sorry this document can no longer be completed, please contact your agency for more information”.

  • When they click x in the top right corner of the modal they will be on the message in their inbox but the Complete the Document button will no longer display

  • .In Penelope, the task will now be assigned to the Worker.
