Variant King: Combined Listing, offers multiple methods to create product groups:
Directly via the dashboard
In this guide, we'll focus on setting up Product Groups using the dashboard.
Step 1: Navigate and Initiate Group Creation
Go to the Variant King: Combined Listing dashboard.
Click on the
Product Groupsin the side navigation bar.Under the Product Groups card, click on
Add groupto open create group page.
Step 2: Add Products and Define Group Details
Follow the setup guide on the right-hand side panel to create a group.
Add a
Group Name(for you to know, shoppers won't see this). It's for you to organize groups within the app.Add
option name(optional), which shoppers will see (like Color, Material, or Available in).Select the products you wish to group together.
Assign
Product page styleandCollection page style to the groupDefine
Option Valuesfor each product (like red or pink). If left blank, the default product name will show.Save your settings.

On the group page, select your preferred style under
Product page styleandCollection page style, such asPolaroid swatch.
Decide if you want these Swatches on the Collection Page.

Next to the chosen style, you'll find the dropdown for selecting your swatch image source. Here's where you can specify the variant image to display:
Choose
First Variant Imageto use the primary image for each variant as the swatch.Select
Second Variant Imageif you want the swatch to display the second image associated with each variant.Opt for
Last Variant Imageto show the final image of each variant as the swatch.Alternatively, you can select
Color/Custom Imageto use a custom image or color for your swatches.
