Seasons work with information that is entered via the Activity Entry/Participation Form. If a school responds “yes” to that activity, then they are added to the list of unassigned schools in the Preseason area. If schools are in an approved CO-OP the BEDS numbers for the host school and the other CO-OP schools are added to a total BEDS number.
Schools need to fill out the Activity Entry/Participation form. They need to answer yes if they are planning to have their own team or be the host for a COOP involving other schools.
Under the Group Sets area, make sure your Class Groups are set up with the correct number of classes and numbers or your sport. To do this click on the “Manage Group Sets” drop down in the top right, and select “Add Class Group Set”:
Utilize the plus or minus buttons to add or remove the number of classes. Then add the names for your classes (the largest being on the one line), then add the number of teams for each class. The last grouping (smallest schools), can have the remaining teams left in to add all of the remaining schools after the larger schools are divided up in the other classes.
On the PreSeason Page- schools should be sorted by total beds count (which takes into account CO-OPs) into their proper classes. If schools have not filled out their participation form or CO-OP form correctly this will affect where they show up in the PreSeason tool area. Once those forms are corrected they will show up in the PreSeason area correctly.
If adjustments do need to be made to the Class Group Set, they can be adjusted in the Group Set Area by clicking on the menu icon by the group set.
Then click on the menu icon for the class you want to adjust
Use the green plus to add teams to the group set, or the red minus to remove a team.
Once the teams for the class are set, on the Pre Season page make sure to click “Set Season Live”
