Creating a new benchmark
Creating a new benchmark
It’s easy! Just follow these steps:
Choose your brands: You can select up to 5 mentions (accounts) to compare, including your own.
Set your time frame: Decide whether you want to analyze the last 7, 30, or 90 days.
Hit ‘Create’ to start the comparison. You’ll be able to view results once the system finishes loading.
Tip: Make sure to enter different accounts (@) for each benchmark — each comparison should be unique!

Browsing Your Benchmarks
All your benchmarks are saved for quick access. When you visit the Competitor Benchmarking tab, you’ll see a list of your previous benchmarks, complete with profile pictures, the brands analyzed, and the date range of each comparison. If a benchmark is still loading, you’ll see a little loading icon instead of the profile pictures—just give it a moment, and it’ll be ready soon!
You can also use the search bar to find a specific benchmark by typing in a brand name.

Once your benchmark is ready, you’ll see a comparison table that breaks down KPIs for each brand. This table gives you a comprehensive view of how different brands perform on social media, based on the following KPIs:

Number of influencers posting
Percentage of sponsored posts.
Estimated reach
Engagement
Engagement rate
Earned Media Value (EMV)
Estimated cost
Return on Investment (ROI)
Cost per Engagement (CPE)
The top-performing brand in each KPI is highlighted by a star icon, giving you an at-a-glance view of who’s leading in which metric.
Want to dig deeper? You can filter KPIs by organic vs. sponsored content to see how each brand’s strategy compares. Plus, there’s an option to view these metrics in easy-to-read graphs, making it even simpler to understand the performance differences.

If you no longer need a benchmark, you can easily delete them from the action menu. A quick confirmation step ensures you’re sure before it’s permanently removed.
