Social listening is the collection of data and targeted listening on social networks. By analyzing the results, you can find out what consumers and/or communities think about your company, your brand or those of your competitors, your products/services, a brand, an event or a topic.

Included in the Discovery module (on Instagram exclusively, for now... but stay tuned!), this new feature allows you to search for Instagram posts or Reels based on one or more mentions and/or hashtag(s).

Gather and analyze scattered data for strategic purposes:

👀  Monitor your e-reputation and/or those of your clients.

🕵🏼‍♀️  Spot potential future ambassadors based on the quality of their content and themes covered.

🆚  Keep an eye on your competitors and identify opportunities for differentiation.

🫶🏼Boost customer engagement and satisfaction by responding live to their questions/comments/concerns.

🚀Improve your product/service (as well as your marketing and communications strategy) by harnessing the reactions of consumers and/or audiences.

🆕  Identify emerging trends and hot topics in your sector.

Following your search, you can also quickly import new influencer profiles into your portfolio to deeply analyze their statistics.

How to create a search?

You only have to define the following 3 search parameters:

  • Search title

  • Mention(s) (3 maximum) and/or hashtag(s) (3 maximum)

  • Duration: choose between the last 7, 30 or 90 days from the day of the search.

Once the search has been created, it is automatically saved (maximum 10) and the contents (max 30,000) appear progressively. Content KPIs are updated up to D+4 from the date of publication.

The Actions button at the top right of your search allows you to modify and/or delete it.

How to filter my search?

Filters allow you to sort your search according to your needs:

  • Show only posts from influencers with between X and Y subscribers.

  • By location (country/region identified in the post).

  • By engagement rate.

  • By number of video views.

⚠️ We recommend you filter your search once all the posts have been loaded to optimize your results.

How can I sort my search results?

You can sort your search results by:

  • Date:

    • Oldest to newest

    • Newest to oldest

  • Engagement:

    • Ascending

    • Decreasing

  • Engagement rate:

    • Ascending

    • Decreasing

  • Video views:

    • Descending

    • View decreasing

What about my search history?

The last 10 searches will be automatically saved by default. So when the user returns to the Social Listening module, the posts from the previous search will already be loaded. They can update previous searches if they wish (every 24 hours only), or delete them.

Can I edit a saved search?

Would you like to create a new search using the parameters of a saved search? In reality, it is not possible to modify a search, but just like duplicating reports, you can modify the pre-saved parameters of an old search and create a new one.

The Actions button at the top right of your search allows you to modify and/or delete it.

🔝 What are the added values of Social Listening made in Stellar?
