In the Reports module, the influencers' posts are automatically tracked by our system thanks to the #hashtags and @mentions listed when you create a report. As a matter of fact, they are considered useable metadata.

🧐 What is the impact of working with metadata?

⚠️ It means that for the content to be tracked correctly in your reports, the location of metadata is crucial.

In other words;

  • @Mentions must be tagged in the picture of the post ⬇️

  • #Hashtags must be used in the caption of the post ⬇️

🤔 Why are @mentions not tracked if they are in a post caption?

  • It is detected as text and not metadata.

  • To avoid reports from being contaminated with typing errors.

  • In common use, about 95% of the @mentions are tagged directly in the pictures.

  • In case the account changes or is deleted, it will create a 'dead link'.
