How does the strike system work?
Updated over a week ago

Our strike system is there to ensure Stinters are following our guidelines, so we can ensure our business Partners are receiving a great, reliable service.

If you receive 3 strikes, your account will be deactivated and you will no longer be able to use Stint.

The following behaviours result in a strike:

  • Uniform: Wearing the incorrect uniform for a Stint.

  • Lateness: Not checking in on time for your Stint.

  • Cancellations: Cancelling a Stint without providing 24 hours' notice.

  • Leaving Early: Leaving a Stint early without notifying anyone at the business.

  • Unresponsiveness: Failing to respond to a Standby Stint call.

  • Gross Misconduct: Displaying unacceptable behaviour during a Stint.

  • Poor Performance: Demonstrating below-average performance during a Stint.

  • No Confirmation: Not confirming your attendance for a Stint.

You’ll be notified by email if you receive a strike.
The email will outline the reason for the strike, and the number of strikes on your account. As a reminder, here are the following behaviours that result in a strike:

After receiving a strike, there’s a 3-day window if you need to appeal it. You can do so via our live chat function in the app. Instructions will also be provided in the initial strike email.

We really appreciate your commitment to upholding a reliable and professional Stint experience!
