How can I find my valid backup file for Stobox 4?

Contact the support team via messenger or email support@stobox.io.

Please inform us about your Stobox 4 registered email address and request that we verify the passphrase ID of your valid backup file.

On your device or devices, search for the StoboxBackupKey files with the JSON extension.

Open each of them via the text editor, e.g., Note.

Search for a passphraseID line and check if it matches the one that the support team sent you.

If it matches, that's your valid backup. Be sure to save it in a specific location and make several copies, including one in cloud storage.

If you can't find the backup that has the passphraseID the support team sent you, that means that, unfortunately, you lost access to your account and can't operate in it. Due to security reasons and the MPC technology, we don't have access to your data and can't assist here. Feel free to register a new account.
