What is a Buyer Ready?
The Buyer Ready feature in Street allows your clients to complete the following tasks from within the Buyer App:
Compliance Check Details (AML)
Proof of Funds
Solicitor Details
Once submitted, their details will then be displayed in the CRM so that you can then run AML checks, confirm that they have the funds available, and add their solicitor details.
The Buyer Ready feature must be enabled in your branch settings before buyers can see it in their app. When configuring Buyer Ready, you choose when the tasks are displayed to your buyer in the Buyer App.
Post Offer - Tasks appear in the buyer's app as soon as they have submitted an offer. If the offer is accepted before they've finished, an automatic reminder is sent.
Offer Accepted - Tasks only appear in the buyer's app once their offer has been accepted.
When Requested - Tasks never appear automatically. They only show after you manually send a request from within Street.
You can also choose which of the three tasks above are active - for example, you may decide to use Proof of Funds and Solicitor Details only.
For more information on setting this up, see our Client Onboarding (Buyer Ready) help article.
Buyer Ready card
The Buyer Ready card will display on the right hand side of the following pages:
Sales Applicant
Sales Offer
Sales Progression
Alternatively you can use the Sales Offer workflow, found under the 'Manage Offer' tab on a sales progression page, to complete each step individually.
Any information submitted via the Buyer Ready feature on the Buyer App will automatically show here. However it's important to note that the Buyer Ready tasks will only show in the buyer's app at the time set up in your settings or when manually requested by you within Street, depending on your settings.
Manually requesting Buyer Ready information
Within the Buyer Ready card you can click the 'Send Request' button to send an email to the buyer, as well as a push notification if they have the Street Consumer App installed.
From here you can see if/when the most recent automated notification was sent and choose which tasks you want to notify them to complete
Note - If the applicant has multiple people linked (e.g. joint buyers), the notification is sent to all linked people on the applicant record.
Buyer Ready Information
As highlighted, when a buyer submits their details via the Buyer App it will appear in Street for you to review. However you will also have the option of manually entering the buyer's details if they cannot / don't want to submit via the app by clicking the 'add' buttons on each section.
Compliance Checks
In the compliance checks section you can submit an Identity Check for the buyer. Street supports multiple AML providers.
Landmark AML - see our Landmark AML Checks help article
Smart Compliance - see our Smart Compliance AML Checks help article
You will also have the option to manually complete an AML check, useful for when you have carried out AML through another route and simply want to record the outcome in Street.
In the compliance checks section you can submit an Identity Check for the buyer via the Landmark AML integration. For more information, see our Landmark AML Checks help article.
Proof of Address
In the proof of address section you can click the 'update' button and choose to pass the buyer and set how this check was carried out, including what document was used.
This section is informational only and is not included in any details sent during an AML check.
Proof of Funds
In the proof of funds section, you can review the relevant information the buyer submitted around how they are purchasing, deposit amount, mortgage amount and evidence documents for deposit and agreement in principle. Once reviewed, you can mark the details as accepted.
This section is informational only and is not included in any details sent during an AML check.
Solicitor Details
In the solicitor details section, if the solicitor details submitted by the buyer match existing details in Street, you can save them straight in. Alternatively you can create a new firm and/or solicitor if their solicitor does match.
This section is informational only and is not included in any details sent during an AML check.
Notify Sales Progressor
When the buyer ready details have all been completed you will have the option to notify the sales progressor.
From here you can select the recipient and viewing the automatically generated summary for the sales progressor. This summary can be edited and additional content added to if needed.
This will notify your selected recipient by tagging them and adding the summary in the activity stream. If you toggle the 'send email' option, the recipient will also get an email with the summary.
