Provisional Viewings
Creating a provisional viewing will allow you to 'reserve' a slot in the calendar prior to sending any notifications to the applicant, vendor and/or tenant.
To get started, you would need to go through the booking a viewing workflow either via the property, applicant, existing viewing or calendar page.
At the point of reaching the calendar screen to select the date and time, you will see a toggle for 'save as Provisional Viewing' at the bottom left of the calendar page.
Toggling this on and saving the viewing will generate the viewing in Street but will not send any automated notifications to your clients. You can clearly see if the viewing is provisional by the amber banner that shows on the right hand side of the viewing page.
You can also see the provisional status of the viewing from the main viewing table.
The viewing will remain in this state until you tick one of the confirmation checkboxes for applicant, agent, owner or tenant.
Once one of these confirmation checkboxes has been ticked the viewing status will update to 'unconfirmed' and will send automated emails/SMS to the clients highlight, if you have these enabled in your notification preferences.
From here, you can continue with the normal confirming a viewing workflow.
Street is constantly being updated. This can mean that some of these articles become slightly out of date. If you spot something that looks a little bit different to your Street account, please let us know on the live chat so we can get it updated!
