Valuation Consultation Appointments
A Valuation Consultation is an optional follow-up appointment booked with a vendor or landlord either during or after a valuation report has been sent. It gives you a structured way to discuss the report, answer questions, and move the conversation towards an instruction - all tracked within Street alongside the valuation itself.
Booking a Consultation
There are two methods of booking a valuation consultation appointment. The first is when completing the valuation report. Once the valuation report is ready to send, you can book a consultation at the same time by checking the 'Book a Valuation Consultation appointment' option at the bottom of the valuation report page before sending.
With the checkbox ticked, click 'continue' and you'll be taken to the calendar page to book the appointment in.
Alternatively, you can book a consultation at any point after the report has been sent from the Valuation Consultation card on the valuation page by clicking 'book now' and booking via the calendar.
The owner will automatically receive the 'Valuation consultation booked' email/SMS notification depending on how this is set up in your notification preferences.
Tip! This notification can be toggled on/off and the content can be edited.
Managing a Consultation
From the Valuation Consultation card on the valuation page, you'll see the details of the upcoming appointment and from the 'actions' drop down can rearrange or cancel the appointment.
Once the time of the booking has passed you can use the action drop down book a new appointment and mark it as completed or not attended.
Owner Self-Service
Owners and landlords can cancel or reschedule their own consultation appointment via the Street app, subject to your branch's notice window setting. If an owner requests a reschedule, the status will update to Reschedule Requested and the calendar event will be removed, prompting you to rebook at a new time.
Filtering by Consultation Status
To track any valuation consultation appointments, head to your Valuations table and in the Awaiting Response tab you will see a filter for 'follow-up method' where you can select valuations have a report sent only, a consultation booked, or a consultation completed. This makes it easy to prioritise follow-up activity across your pipeline.
