Property Questions (Consumer App)
This article explains what that experience looks like from the owner's side and how they can respond directly from their Street app but for information on how it works from their Street desktop account, see this help article.
Receiving a question
When a question is submitted from the agent app during a viewing, it is immediately sent to the owner. Questions added manually in Street are only sent to the owner when the agent selects 'Send to Vendor' from the FAQ actions menu.
Either way, the owner will receive an automated email notification as well as a notification in their Street consumer app.
Note - The automated email notification is called 'New Faq Received' which can be toggled on/off and the content of the notification can also be edited.
For more information on managing this notification, see this help article.
Viewing and answering questions
In the consumer app, owners will see the question notification in the 'activity' tab and can also go to the 'Your Home' tab and select their property to see all questions.

Owners can click into the question and submit their answer. Once answered the question in their app will update an they can review their past answers.

Once answered, the user that submitted the question will receive a notification in Street, as well as an email, highlighting the question has been answered. The answer feeds back into Street immediately and appears against the relevant FAQ in the Property FAQs section on the property page.
Note - Answers submitted by the owner are not automatically published to the Street public page or sent to the applicant (if it was asked during a viewing).
With the answer received, you can navigate to the Property FAQ's page in Street to review. For more information on this, see this help article.
Street is constantly being updated. This can mean that some of these articles become slightly out of date. If you spot something that looks a little bit different to your Street account, please let us know on the live chat so we can get it updated!
