To create a sales offer you must have a sales listing active on the property.
To create a new Sales Offer, head to the property page and click Create > Sales Offer.
From here search for, and select, the Applicant making the offer.
If the person making the offer is not an applicant within your system, click 'Create Applicant' instead to first create them as an Applicant.
If, after clicking 'Create Applicant', you see that the person does not exist within your system at all, click 'Create Person' to create them. You can then create them as an Applicant. Here you will be able to enter all of the applicants preferences of what type of property they are looking for. You can enter their budget, bedrooms, preferred area and all of the types/styles of property that they are looking for.
Once you have selected/created the Applicant, you can enter their Offer Amount, Buying Position and Financial Position, as well as adding any Additional Information. When ready to proceed, you can click Create Offer and you are done!
If you would like to make an offer on a property before it is live on the portals, you would need to make the property available for sale, but before you save the listing make sure to tick the "Low profile listing" and "Do not publish to website" flags. The reason you have to do this is due to offers being linked to listings.
Once you have created the sales offer, you can begin the process of verifying the offer through proof of funds, AML, solicitor details and more. For more information, see our Sales Offer Workflow help article.
