Photo and Measure in the Street Agent App
In order to save an agent from having to wait until they can access the main Street platform to onboard a property, the Street Agent App enables agents to have a headstart in creating their new listing. It also prevents the need to record property information elsewhere, to then have to add it into their Street account later on.
Carrying out your photo and measure appointments via the app is a huge timesaver and even means you can be writing your property descriptions in between appointments to save any unnecessary downtime when out in the field.
Viewing a photo and measure appointment in the App
Once a photo and measure appointment has been booked, it will appear in the attending agent's Street Agent App, ready to be conducted. The agent will see the appointment on the app's 'dashboard' tab and can also navigate to the 'appointments' tab to see a breakdown of all appointments for that day:
Conducting a photo and measure appointment in the App
Clicking into a photo and measure appointment will load the page to start uploading the relevant information as well as the contact details for the owner.
To upload photos, click the camera icon where you can choose from your device's library or take a photo:
You can also add information about rooms (including measurements and descriptions), outside spaces (such as gardens, balconies etc) and parking spaces (garages, driveway etc).
You will also be able to add key features for the property, with the option to highlight on viewings and/or include the feature on the portals.
Finally, you can also enter the heating system, property tenure and main description.
Completing the appointment
When finished, you must click the the 'save as draft' button to save the details into Street.
If you do not click 'save as draft', the details you've entered won't save into Street.
It's important to note that this is just a draft and can be edited further in Street. You cannot make a property live or submit it for owner approval via the app, you will still need to log into the main platform to review your listing and submit it for approval.
Once you view the property record from the main platform, all of the details you entered via the app will show in either the property details or property onboarding section. You can then make any necessary edits such as re-ordering the photos, changing descriptions or filling in any incomplete fields until you are happy with your new listing.
