Photo and Measure in the Street Agent App
To save you from having to wait until you can access the main Street platform to onboard a property, the Street Agent App enables you to get a head start in creating a new listing. It also prevents the need to record property information elsewhere, to then have to add it into their Street account later on.
Carrying out your photo and measure appointments via the app is a huge time saver and even means you can be writing your property descriptions in between appointments to save any unnecessary downtime when out in the field.
Accessing a Photo and Measure Appointment
Once you've booked a photo and measure appointment either head to the Home tab (if it is your next appointment) or the Calendar tab and click into the photo and measure appointment.
From here you'll see the key details and can use the three dots at the top right to cancel or rearrange the appointment if needed. Clicking into a photo and measure appointment will load the page to start uploading the relevant information as well as the contact details for the owner.

Carrying out a photo and measure appointment in the App
From here you can start adding the relevant details including photos, either choosing from your phone's library or by taking new photos. If you need to delete any photos added in error, click 'select' at the top right, select the photo to delete and then click delete.
You can also add information about rooms (including measurements and descriptions), outside spaces (such as gardens, balconies etc) and parking spaces (garages, driveway etc).
Next you can add key features for the property, with the option to highlight on viewings and/or include the key feature on the portals. If marked as highlight on viewings, the key feature will be shown at the top of the property tab on the Agent App during a viewing.
Finally, you can enter the heating system, property tenure and notes relating to the property description. Notes added in the property description section will store in Street for you to refine later.
Completing the photo and measure appointment
When finished, you must click the the 'Save Property' button to save the details into Street.
Note - If you do not click 'save property', the details you've entered won't save into Street.
It's important to note that this is just a draft and can be edited further in Street. You cannot make a property live or submit it for owner approval via the app, you will still need to log into the main platform to review your listing and submit it for approval.
Once saved, head to the property page in Street and you'll see the details you entered via the app are now stored against the property. You can then begin or continue with the property listing details process, making an edits such as re-ordering or removing photos, changing descriptions and completing any incomplete fields.
SOS Button
During the appointment you will also the SOS button that can be used to alert your colleagues. For more information, see our SOS Feature help article.
