What is Landmark?
Landmark AML is a proven electronic AML customer due diligence system that has been designed to specifically meet anti-money laundering due diligence by interrogating a wide range of approved and independent data sources to enable users to reach a decision instantly, with confidence and certainty.
Landmark can be setup within your Street account allowing you to perform an AML check on owners and sales applicants at the click of a button as well as allowing owners to submit their AML information via the owner app.
Setting up the Landmark AML integration
Before setting up the Landmark integration, please ensure you have read through our Landmark AML Functionality help article to understand how the integration works, what it can do and that identity checks are charged at £3 +VAT while ownership checks are charged at £7 +VAT (or £5 +VAT in Scotland).
Note - Account integrations can only be activated by Company Admins. If you cannot see the Account Administration settings or cannot see Integrations, please speak to a Company Admin in your account.
If you decide you want to use the integration, head to Settings (on the left side panel at the bottom) > Account Administration > Integrations > click on the Landmark integration.
Next, click Configuration and enable Landmark as the AML provider:
Note - If you see a message saying "There is already another AML provider enabled" and you cannot see the configuration tab, please contact Street support via Live Chat and we can deactivate your other AML integration.
Once toggled on, you will also see two additional settings for each branch in your network:
These toggles determine what happens when an owner submits identity and proof of ownership checks via the owner app.
If toggled to 'yes', when a owner submits their AML checks via the owner app, the checks will come into your Street account on the relevant page and automatically be sent to Landmark to be reviewed. You will receive an email to the branch email address as well as a notification in Street.
Note - If automatic checks are toggled to yes, you will automatically be charged the normal £3 +VAT or £7 +VAT per check (or £5 +VAT in Scotland), depending on which check, when a vendor submits a check.
If toggled to 'no', the checks will still come into Street however you will need to manually send them to Landmark by going to the relevant page clicking the 'check identity/ownership' buttons. For more information on this step, see here.
You're now setup and ready to use the Landmark AML integration.
