What is Landmark?
Landmark AML is a proven electronic AML customer due diligence system that has been designed to specifically meet anti-money laundering due diligence by interrogating a wide range of approved and independent data sources to enable users to reach a decision instantly, with confidence and certainty.
The Landmark integration allows you to complete AML checks for vendors, sales applicant, landlords, lettings applicants and tenants from within Street, either manually or by submitting the details to Landmark, as well as allowing owners and buyers to submit their AML information via the Street Consumer app.
Note - Currently landlords and tenants are not able to submit AML checks via the app but this is coming soon.
Setting up the Landmark AML integration
Before setting up the Landmark integration, please ensure you have read through our Landmark AML Functionality help article to understand how the integration works, what it can do and that identity checks are charged at £3 +VAT while ownership checks are charged at £7 +VAT (or £5 +VAT in Scotland).
If you decide you want to use the integration, head to Settings (on the left side panel at the bottom) > Account Administration > Integrations > click on the Landmark integration.
Note - Note - You will need to be a Company Admin to access integrations. If you cannot see the Account Administration settings or Integrations, please speak to a Company Admin in your account.
From here click on the Configuration tab and enable the integration by toggling it to yes.
Note - If you see a message saying "There is already another AML provider enabled" and you cannot see the configuration tab, please contact Street support via Live Chat and we can deactivate your other AML integration.
Once toggled on, you will also see some additional settings for each branch in your network that determine what happens when an owner or landlord submits their identity and proof of ownership checks via the Street Consumer app.
If toggled to 'no', when an owner or landlord submits their AML checks via the Street app you will receive a notification in Street, as well as an email to the branch email address, informing you that they have submitted their details. Those details will not automatically send to Landmark and will instead remain there until you manually send them to Landmark by going to the relevant page clicking the 'check identity / ownership' buttons. For more information, see our Landmark AML Checks help article.
However if toggled to 'yes', the checks will come into your Street account as normal (along with the notification and email) but instead of waiting there the details will automatically be sent to Landmark to be reviewed, without you needing to manually send them.
Note - If automatic checks are toggled to yes, you will automatically be charged the normal £3 +VAT or £7 +VAT per check (or £5 +VAT in Scotland), depending on which check, when a vendor or landlord submits their details.
Once you have chosen these settings, you're set up and ready to use the Landmark AML integration.
If you have any questions on a PDF report or any failed checks, please contact our dedicated Street - Landmark account manager, Charlene Gaydon, on charlene.gaydon@landmark.co.uk, including details of the property address, client name and PDF report.
