Adding an inspection report

Once an inspection has been confirmed, you will see the option to upload an inspection report. This can technically be done while the status is 'Booked' (i.e. the inspection date is today or in the future) or when the status has updated to 'Incomplete' (i.e. the inspection date is now in the past).

Head to the inspection page and look for the 'Inspection report' section. Here you will see the option to upload a document from the inspection:

Uploading a Document

If you choose to upload the inspection report, you will need to click the 'Send Report to Owner' button before being able to proceed - it is not possible to upload the inspection report and not send to the owner. Clicking this button will send an email to each owner confirming the inspection has been completed, with the document attached:

Clicking the 'Reset' button will undo the file attachment and take you back to the previous state.

Marking a report as not required

Alternatively, you can tick the 'not required' box which will skip the document upload step and allow you proceed without uploading any document or emailing the owner:

Next step

The next and final step is to complete the inspection and set a new due date.
