Managing a Valuation Appointment
You can find a valuation from your calendar page by clicking the appointment and selecting View Valuation, from the valuation table in the Upcoming or Awaiting Research tabs, or from the property page by scrolling down to the valuation card on the right-hand side and clicking View Valuation.
Re-arranging a Valuation Appointment
From the valuation page, scroll down and click the Rearrange button. This takes you back to the book a date and timeslot page where you can select a new date, time, and visiting agent.
Tip! You can also rearrange directly from the calendar page by clicking the event and then clicking the pencil icon.
Rearranging a valuation will send the Valuation Re-arranged email notification to the owner/s. This notification can be toggled on/off and the content can be edited. For more information on managing notifications, see this help article. To manage it for a specific property, see this help article.
Note - It is only possible to rearrange a valuation if the date and time hasn't already passed. If you need to change to a different date/time after the valuation date has passed, you will need to create a new valuation.
Cancelling a valuation appointment
To cancel a valuation, head to the valuation page and click Cancel Booking. You'll be asked to enter a reason for the cancellation, which will be stored in the valuation activity stream.
Note - It is only possible to cancel a valuation if the date and time hasn't already passed. For valuations that have passed, see Mark as Not Attended below.
Cancelling a valuation will send the Valuation Cancelled email notification to the owner/s. This notification can be toggled on/off and the content can be edited. For more information on managing notifications, see this help article. To manage it for a specific property, see this help article.
Mark as Not Attended
If a valuation appointment has passed but did not go ahead, you can mark it as Did Not Go Ahead from the valuation page.
This records the outcome against the valuation without cancelling it in the traditional sense, keeping an accurate record of what happened.
This is distinct from cancelling - cancellation is for upcoming appointments you want to remove, whereas Not Attended is for past appointments where the visit simply didn't happen.
Provisional Valuations
A valuation can be booked provisionally, meaning a date and time is held but not yet confirmed. Provisional valuations will show as such on the valuation page and in the calendar. Once you're ready to confirm, click Confirm Valuation on the valuation page to convert it from provisional to a confirmed booking.
For more information, see our Provisional Valuations help article.
