Valuations in Street
Before you begin setting up and adding valuations in Street, it's important that you've completed some compulsory valuation settings.
If you manage sales, you will need to setup your fee labels.
If you manage lettings, you will need to setup your lettings service levels.
We also recommend setting up your biography and profile picture as these will displaying on the valuation report.
It's also important to setup your valuation template which is done individually for each branch in your network. Your agency Company/Branch admins should have completed this as part of their onboarding to Street but it's worth checking.
Valuations Table
Clicking on the Valuations tab on the left side panel will load a table showing a list of all of your valuations, with various subcategories based on their status.
Here, you will have the ability to implement multiple filters such as branch, property assignee and valuer to access the data you need as well as viewing by all, sales only or lettings only by changing the drop down filter next to the header.
For a quick search, you can also search the address in the search bar.
It's worth noting here, you can click 'add valuation' from this page which will take you to the creating a valuation page.
Valuation Sub Headings and Workflow
The workflow of a valuation within Street makes processing and following up valuations much easier from your CRM, prompting you to contact the client when you feel is best. All upcoming, current and historic valuations are stored within this tab, so you can track them easily.
Booking a valuation
The first step in the workflow is to book in a valuation. For more information on how to do this, see this article - Booking a valuation.
When a valuation is booked, it will be visible within your Upcoming tab. This is to allow you to see all upcoming appointments.
Pre valuation research
Any valuations that have not had their pre valuation research completed will also sit in the Awaiting Research tab. To see how to complete your pre-valuation research follow the guide here - Completing a valuation.
Once the pre valuation research has been completed, that valuation will only show in the Upcoming tab.
Using the agent app during the valuation appointment
The Street Agent app can be used during the valuation to record important information which will feed into Street, ready for when you're back in the office. However this is optional and the valuation will automatically mark as completed when the end time passes. For more information on using the app, see our during the valuation help article
Sending a valuation
Once you the valuation has been completed, you will see the valuation sitting under Awaiting Valuation. This will mean data needs entering post-valuation on your Valuation page within Street, where you can complete your valuation follow up. There is a help article relating directly to sending a valuation report.
At any stage of this process, within the Valuation tab, you can set a follow up, which will appear on the Valuation screen and your tasks page.
Waiting on the owner's response
Once the valuation has been sent to the owner, the valuation will move to the Awaiting Response tab until you set the final result of the valuation. At this stage, you should update the valuation itself, either accepting the instruction, marking it as lost or not having gone ahead. Depending on the outcome, the valuation will move into one of the relevant valuation outcome tabs.

The Won / Lost / Unattended / Cancelled valuation subheadings relate specifically to the valuation outcome, and you can even set Custom Statuses that suit your agency. For more information, see our Valuation Statuses help article.
