Your Street calendar makes it extremely straight forward to manage yours and your team's diary. When booking an appointment into the calendar via any workflow, you will be presented with the option to book via Quick Book or Calendar View.

This article explains how Quick Book works however you can see our Calendar View article for information on how that works.

When you preview the options to book a timeslot for an appointment, it will default to the Quick Book View. This view gives a breakdown of all users in that property's branch that have the corresponding role setup in their user profile, eg valuer for valuations and viewer for viewings.

On the left hand side you can select the day you wish to view availability for and each user's availability.

Quick book star rating system

Appointments in quick book are ranked on a 1 to 5 star rating system, with 1 star being the least convenient and 5 star being the most convenient. Street looks at each user's calendar and appointments to determine how convenient a time slot is.

For example, a timeslot may be ranked 5 star and suggested because it fits in after an existing valuation, either before or after that timeslot. In addition, it may also be ranked highly because it is very close in proximity to a previous valuation.

In another example, an appointment may be ranked 1 star because there is a previous appointment in place (meaning the user will already be out of the office) however the travel time may be quite long and therefore may not be the most suitable time.

Quick book lightning bolt rating system

Under an individual property's settings, you can customise the owner viewing preferences for viewings and if you set owner confirmation as 'sometimes' or 'never', the quick book view will show lightning bolts for times that meet the criteria, instead of stars. They work in the same format as stars, with 1 lightning bolt being least convenient and 5 lightning bolts being most convenient.

These lightning bolts are known as 'instant book slots' and are useful for your team to identify timeslots that can be instantly booked without the need for confirmation from the owner, based on their preferences. It's important to note that booking an instant book slot would not send an owner viewing request notification and will automatically confirm the viewing.

For example, owner confirmation may be set to 'sometimes' with Monday's and Tuesday's not requiring owner confirmation as they are out of the house. In this instance, booking a viewing for Tuesday would show lightning bolts.
