Property Information Questionnaire
A Property Information Questionnaire (PIQ) is a tool that allows you to gather key details about a vendor's property. This will help you gather the material information needed to be disclosed when you market and sell the property.
For your vendors to submit a PIQ via their Street app you will first need to setup the PIQ in your settings. For more information on this, see our PIQ Setup help article.
Property Onboarding Card
When you first instruct a property, you'll see the 'property onboarding' card on the property page and it will show the PIQ task with a status of 'awaiting response'. If needed you can click the three dot menu on the right and you'll see the option to 'resend', that will send the vendor a reminder email if needed.
At this stage, you will need to wait for your vendor to use their Street Consumer app to complete their PIQ. For information on how this looks for your vendor, see our Vendor Submitting PIQ help article.
Tip! The onboarding tile will remain on the property page after the property has been instructed. This allows you to send the PIQ reminder for any properties that are already on the market and access any that have been submitted.
Completing the PIQ Manually
Alternatively, you can use the 'complete manually' option (from the same three dot menu) to manually mark the PIQ as complete.
When completing manually you can upload an attachment, useful if you have a completed PIQ document to save in Street, and add any notes.
Once completed, the PIQ status updates to 'Completed Manually', including the user who completed it, date and time, and the details are recorded on the activity stream. The uploaded document can be viewed from the three dot menu as well as the property's documents and files section.
Note - The 'complete manually' option doesn't allow you to fill the PIQ in on the owner's behalf, it simply marks the task as complete and is useful for cases where the PIQ has been completed externally to Street.
You can also use the 'undo' button to undo the manual completion, taking it back to the 'awaiting response' status. This would allow the owner to complete it in their Street account again.
Reviewing a Vendor's Completed PIQ
When a vendor submits their PIQ, if the property is unassigned you will receive an email to the branch email address, otherwise the property assignee will receive the email. You will also see a branch notification in Street and clicking this notification will load the PIQ information page.
The status in the property onboarding card will also be updated to 'completed' and you can click the three dot menu and select 'view' to see the answers given. Additionally, you will have the option to 'unsubmit' the PIQ which will allow the vendor to re-submit it from their consumer account, should any details be incorrect.
When viewing the PIQ, first page will show both default and custom question answers.
When you click the 'continue' button at the bottom right and you will then see a comparison of the information the vendor has input vs the data you already hold on record. From here you can tick the checkbox next to a question to choose which information you want to update and then click 'update property details' which will automatically update those details on the property page in Street.
Note - Custom questions will not be shown in the list of answers on this page as they cannot be automatically added to property details.
Every default question in the PIQ has a corresponding field in the property details on Street however not all data gathered via the PIQ and added to the property will be published to the portals automatically. This is limited to the data that is currently accepted by the portals.
Tip! If you want to display any of the newer information gathered by the PIQ on the portal listings, this will need to be added to the property description.
Once you are finished reviewing and updating the details from the PIQ, you can continue with the property onboarding.
Note - It is not currently possible to print the PIQ from Street. If you do need to download a physical copy, you can try saving the webpage as a PDF.
Agent App PIQ Information
When PIQ responses have been received, these will show in the Street Agent app during viewing appointments. You can access the PIQ responses via the Street Agent app from the viewing page under the Property tab, by clicking 'view PIQ responses'.
Note - If a vendor has answered a PIQ question with 'don't know', that question will not show in the PIQ responses in the agent app.
