Buyers Managing Viewings via the Consumer App
Within the Street Consumer App, a buyer can manage their viewings by seeing key details such as the address, date and time as well as get directions, cancel and make offers.
Overview Tab
From the overview tab, the buyer can instantly see any previous viewings and leave feedback as well as view an upcoming viewings and submitted offers.
Viewings Tab
The viewings tab is broken down into three sections: Upcoming, completed and cancelled.
Upcoming Viewings
The upcoming viewings tab shows any confirmed viewings that are upcoming.
Note - Provisional viewings will not show in the buyer's consumer app.
By clicking 'show additional information' the buyer has the option of opening their phone's map application to get directions to the property as well as copying the address and adding the appointment to their calendar.
If the viewing is unconfirmed, the buyer has the option of declining or accepting directly from their app.
The buyer also has the option of cancelling the viewing by clicking the manage button, depending on the notice to cancel a viewing as setup in your branch appointment settings. If the buyer cancels a viewing, you will receive an on screen message in Street, a notification in your notification centre as well as an email to the branch email address. The status of the viewing will update to 'cancelled' and the 'viewing cancelled' notifications will be sent out to the relevant parties, if toggled on in your notification preferences.
Completed Viewings
For any completed viewings, buyers have the option of leaving feedback. Here they can add their comments and optionally rate how they thought the property was priced. This information feeds into Street for you to review before submitting to the owner. Buyers can also book another viewing directly from their Street account.
Additionally, buyers can make on offer on any completed viewings by clicking into the property. They can submit their offer amount and add any notes for the offer. These notes are stored internally on the sales offer page for you to refer back to but are not shared with the owner.
It's also important to highlight that when a buyer submits an offer, it doesn't go directly to the owner. Instead it goes into your Street account for you to review before deciding whether to relay to the owner and accept / reject the offer. For more information, see our Accepting a Sales Offer help article.
Cancelled Viewings
The cancelled heading shows any viewings that were cancelled, either by the applicant, agency or owner, as well as any viewings rejected by the owner. The buyer cannot interact with these viewings any further, these are stored for informational purposes only.
