Objective
Navigate the Projects page in StructShare.
Background
StructShare allows you to manage multiple Projects, adjust Project specific settings including Phases and Permissions and access the Project ‘Budget’ view.
Things to Consider
Permissions
‘System Admin’, ‘Invoices Admin’ or ‘Project Admin’ permissions are needed to access the ‘Projects’ page.
Steps:
Click on the StructShare ‘S’ logo on the top left of your StructShare instance to open up the menu bar
Click on the person icon with the hardhat to open the ‘Projects’ page
The search bar can be used to search for the Project based on the Project Name, Project Address or or Job Number. Additionally you can scroll and adjust the ‘Rows per Page’ to view more projects
The pencil icon can be used to access the Project settings and adjust the ‘Details’, ‘Setup’, ‘Phases’ and ‘Permissions’
You can adjust the column preferences and create all order types from the ‘Projects’ screen
If you adjust the column preferences, these preferences will be saved for the next time you login
Understanding the ‘Projects’ View
Any ‘Warehouses’ previously set up from the ‘Warehouse’ page, will show at the top of the ‘Projects’ page.
You cannot edit your ‘Warehouses’ via the ‘Warehouses’ page but can view the ‘Budget’ screen by clicking on the blue ‘Warehouse’ name.
The ‘Projects’ table will show the following columns:
Job Number - This can be defined from the Project ‘Setup’ tab
Name - StructShare will automatically populate the Job Address as the Job Name unless adjusted
Address- The delivery address for project orders
Delivery Progress bar
Total Budget - from the Project 'Budget' table
Accounting Ref - Allows you to map invoice data to the correct Project in an ERP
Contact Name - Jobsite contact
Users - You can hover over the “i” icon to see all users who have access to the project. Additionally, you can click into the Project Settings and view the ‘Permissions Per User’ page.
Contact Phone Number - Jobsite Contact Number
Active? - There is a green check mark in this column for active projects and if the project is complete or no longer active, this column will be empty
Tax Exempt - If a project is marked as 'tax Exempt', there will be a green checkmark in this column
Warehouse? - There is a green check mark for your ‘Warehouses'.
