Objective
Add a Default General Note displayed on all order types.
Background
StructShare allows you to set a Project specific note that will display on all order types. You also have the option to add a ‘Default General Note’ that will be displayed on all order types regardless of Project.
Things to Consider
Permissions
‘System Admin’ or ‘Invoices Admin’ permissions are needed to access the ‘Settings’ page, make adjustments and save changes.
Steps:
Click on the StructShare ‘S’ logo on the top left of your StructShare instance to open up the menu bar
Click on the gear icon on the bottom left to navigate to the ‘Settings’ page
From the ‘System Settings’ tab, click on the ‘Edit’ button next to the ‘Default General Notes’ field.
Add 300 characters or less to the ‘Default General Notes’ field
Click ‘Update’
Scroll down to ‘Save Changes’
Your changes will not be saved until you click ‘Save Changes’ at the bottom of the ‘System Settings’ page.
