Objective

Add a Default General Note displayed on all order types.

Background

StructShare allows you to set a Project specific note that will display on all order types. You also have the option to add a ‘Default General Note’ that will be displayed on all order types regardless of Project.

Things to Consider

  • Permissions

    • ‘System Admin’ or ‘Invoices Admin’ permissions are needed to access the ‘Settings’ page, make adjustments and save changes.

Steps:

  • Click on the StructShare ‘S’ logo on the top left of your StructShare instance to open up the menu bar

  • Click on the gear icon on the bottom left to navigate to the ‘Settings’ page

  • From the ‘System Settings’ tab, click on the ‘Edit’ button next to the ‘Default General Notes’ field.

  • Add 300 characters or less to the ‘Default General Notes’ field

  • Click ‘Update’

  • Scroll down to ‘Save Changes’

    • Your changes will not be saved until you click ‘Save Changes’ at the bottom of the ‘System Settings’ page.
